Вышла бета версия Bookviser 5 для Windows Phone

Добрый день,

Мы рады представить бета версию Bookviser 5 для Windows Phone.

Теперь программа поддерживает такие функции Windows Phone 8, как открытие книг, хранящихся на SD карте или загруженных с помощью браузера.

Другие новые функции - новая анимация страниц, одновременная загрузка нескольких книг, заметки и выделение текста цветом, улучшенное управление библиотекой, улучшенная панель быстрого доступа к настройкам.

Бета версия Bookviser для Windows 8 должна появиться на следующей неделе. Вместе с этим станет доступна синхронизация книг и закладок между устройствами.

Bookviser 5 beta is available

Hi,

We're glad to show you the first beta of Bookviser 5.

The app now supports the Windows Phone 8 features like opening books downloaded with the browser or importing them from SD card.

Other new features are new page turning animations, batch books downloading / importing, notes and highlights, improved library management, improved quick settings panel.

The beta version of Bookviser for Windows 8 is coming probably next week. This will enable the sync of books and bookmarks across devices.

Solution to Skydrive problem

Since December, some Bookviser users experience problems connecting to their Skydrive account. As the problem is not universal and only happens to some users, it took us time to reproduce it. Finally the problem manifested on one of our devices and we found how to fix it. The solution is simple:

1.  First of all, delete Bookviser from the list of programs in your Skydrive account. You can use this link: https://account.live.com/consent/Manage.

2. Then reinstall Bookviser on your phone. Unfortunately, all books previously uploaded on your phone will be deleted together with Bookviser.

Roadmap for 2014

2013 was a pretty busy year for Bookviser. We released Windows 8 app and we’ve almost finished Windows Phone 8 version. Here’s a list of things we plan to bring to life in 2014:

•  Windows Phone 8 version release (in work, top priority) – will include highlights, notes making, SD card support and more.
• Synchronization service (in work, top priority) - will synch books between Windows Phone and Windows 8 devices.
•  Enhancement of Windows 8 version – will include highlights, notes making, portrait mode and more.
•  More formats for both Windows 8 and Windows Phone platforms: PDF, DjVu, MOBI
•  Further development of Bookviser service.

Bookviser for Windows Phone hotfix submitted to the Store

Hi,

I've just submitted an update of Bookviser for Windows Phone fixing different issues revealed after the update 4.0 was published. Also the 4.1 allows more control on the line spacing (you can almost completely remove the space between lines).
