Since December, some Bookviser users experience problems connecting to their Skydrive account. As the problem is not universal and only happens to some users, it took us time to reproduce it. Finally the problem manifested on one of our devices and we found how to fix it. The solution is simple:
1. First of all, delete Bookviser from the list of programs in your Skydrive account. You can use this link: https://account.live.com/consent/Manage.
2. Then reinstall Bookviser on your phone. Unfortunately, all books previously uploaded on your phone will be deleted together with Bookviser.
Hey buddy! Just migrated to Win8 and im loving your app but i am looking and looking and i see that you said in comments long back that pdf support is coming up in upcoming releases but mine are still not working. Is there a special way to add pdf files to the app or are you still working on it?

Hi! Sorry, it's not yet ready. At the moment I'm concentrated on the WP8 version and sync feature between WP8 and Win8. Once done I will get to the big update for Win8, and it should include PDF support.
DeleteWill reinstalling bookwiser delete all corresponding bookmarks? Where are they actually stored? If yes we can't say we've found a solution for the problem. Can't that be fixed with subsequent update?
ReplyDeleteYes, all the data will be deleted. Maybe the upgrade to the upcoming WP8 version will help. Actually there is noting to fix in Bookviser, the error happens on SkyDrive side.
