Bookviser 2.3 submitted to Marketplace

Hey,

Just posted an update to Marketplace. The version 2.3 contains the following changes:

- screen orientation control additionally placed in settings menu;
- fixed problems with large EPUBs and EPUB contents;
- added page numbers.

It should be available within 3-4 days.

Bookviser 2 live in Marketplace

Hi,

Bookviser major update is now live in Marketplace here. With this update you get:

- images support;
- formatting (bold, italic);
- landscape mode (can be turned on/off in quick settings);
- hyphenation in Russian.

Вот список изменений, включенных в новую версию:

1) Предотвращение блокировки экрана. Если эта функция активирована, экран не будет блокироваться, пока Вы читаете:

2) Анимцию перехода со страницы на страницу можно настроить (или отключить) отдельно для портретного и ландшафтного режима. Тап зоны привязаны к выбранной анимации:

 

3) Bookviser теперь может отображать картинки и имеет ограниченную поддержку форматирования. Для книг на русском можно включить функцию переносов:

 

  





4) Вы можете читать в портретном или ландшафтном режиме. Поврот экрана может осуществляться автоматически или вручную:

Bookviser 2 Beta

Here are the changes included in the new version:

1) Lock screen prevention. When ON this will prevent your screen from dimming and locking when you read:

2) Page transitions can be selected separately for Portrait and Landscape mode. Tap zones are bound to transitions:

4) You can read in Portrait or Landscape mode. The screen either can be locked or can rotate automatically:

Bookviser 1.2 submitted to Marketplace

I've just submitted Bookviser 1.2 to Marketplace. It fixes bugs and adds the possibility to switch off the page turn animation. Now working on more important updates.

Bookviser v 1.1 live in Marketplace

Hey, it's just to let you know Bookviser v 1.1 with SkyDrive support is now live in Marketplace here.

Just submitted Bookviser 1.1 to Marketplace. I guess it will take a couple of days until it's published.

It took me a bit longer to add interface languages than I thought :)

New in Version 1.1

SkyDrive added

I added SkyDrive support, fixed some issues with browser downloads and now adding localization for Russian and French. That's all the languages I know :) One more day and I will publish the new version.

EPUB related fixes

I will post here news about features and fixes that will be included in the upcoming versions.

Just finished fixing issues in Bookviser with some EPUB files when building contents and extracting cover images.

Started working on adding SkyDrive support. Will try to finish and publish the new version by next Friday, February 3rd, 2012.

Bookviser available for free download in Marketplace

Bookviser is now in Marketplace. Thanks to all of the beta testers for their valuable feedback and interesting ideas.

Some remarks from this feedback are reflected in the live version:

• single book tiles pinning to home screen
• smaller font sizes added (up to 20)
• author and title moved to a bar appearing on center tap
• page turn animations are now a bit faster

More features such as SkyDrive and Dropbox support are coming in the next version.
